Girls Volleyball Clinic at NMS

volleyballThe North Middlesex Girls Volleyball team will be hosting volleyball clinics for girls in grades 6, 7 and 8.  The clinics will be held right after school until 3:45 on February 28, March 7, 14 and 21.  The clinics will be run by the coaches and players of the high school team.  Permission slips are available in the office. This opportunity is free! Please see Mr. Savard in the gym with any questions.

Program of Studies Night

nmathleticsA reminder that the high school’s annual Program of Studies Evening for the 2017-2018 academic year will take place on Thursday, February 9 at 6:00 p.m. The evening will begin in the Auditorium, with information about our curriculum opportunities in the new building, and a walk through of the process of signing up for classes. Parents and students will then be invited our curriculum fair, where specific information about the classes offered by all our departments will be available, and subject specialists will be on hand to answer questions. This evening is open to all current students as well as current seventh and eighth graders and their families. By the end of the day on February 7, grades nine through eleven will have received their program of studies packet in advisory, and grade eight students will have received their packets in homerooms.

ESCAPE Game at NM!

NM Project Graduation is hosting an ESCAPE game!  Compete against time to unravel all the mysteries and unlock your way through the challenge.  Three different challenges will be repeated between noon and 5 PM on Monday and Tuesday, November 21st and 22nd.    Register individually or as a group (up to 10 individuals per challenge). ($10 per person per challenge)  Register for one or all three.  100% of the fee goes to NM Project Graduation.


Grade 8 Open House at High School

A note from the high school….

nmathleticsOur Eighth Grade Open House is coming up on Thursday November 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. This is an opportunity for middle school students and their parents to take in the academic and extracurricular opportunities at NM. The evening will begin in the auditorium, where parents and students will be introduced to the department chairs, and I will take a few moments to share the vision and direction of the school. Following these introductions, parents and students can make their own way around the school (maps will be provided). Each department will have staff and students available to answer questions, there will be displays, sample lessons in progress, and activities. There will also be an activities fair, Pat the Patriot will be on hand, and the school will be full of our current students.
