Students on 8 Red recently completed an Introduction to History project. Students chose a historical topic that they were interested in. They did research on their topic (we went to the library as a class for a few days). Then, thjey put their information on a poster and wrote an essay. Their essay answered the essential question: “How did my topic/event affect or change history?” Each student or group (students were allowed to work alone or with a partner) presented their information to the class. Another component to the project was to make something unique or creative that relates to your topic. Below you will see some example of the work the students created.
