Project 351

On Saturday, our own eighth grader, Madeline Sampson served as Nissitissit Middle School’s Ambassador to the Project 351 Launch and Service Day in Boston.  The day began at Faneuil Hall with an inspiring speech from Governor Charlie Baker. Governor Baker reflected on “what defines an unsung hero” and the power of unconditional love in a family and  community. Then, Maddie went to the Pine Street Inn where she and other middle school students from surrounding communities created paintings that will be developed into a beautiful mural. The day ended with a trip to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum for a town  meeting with Congressman Seth Moulton and a service celebration. During her day of service, Maddie made many new friendships with students across the state.   Congratulations to Maddie for being selected to participate in this exciting opportunity and thank you for your service!

Scholar’s Brunch

On Friday, students celebrated earning High Honors with our traditional Scholar’s Brunch. The PTSG hosted the event and provided our students with yummy treats including donuts, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. We love to see our students working hard! They surely deserved this special brunch! Thank you to the PTSG for continuing to support this event. We hope to see all of these students and more next trimester!
