The single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each year. Next Tuesday, October 7 from 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM, the Nashoba Associated Boards of Health will host a seasonal flu clinic at Nissitissit Middle School.
Please bring your insurance card as most companies cover the cost, otherwise a fee of $15.00 will cover the cost of the vaccine.
Everyone (6 months and older) should get an annual flu vaccine. It takes about two weeks after vaccination for your body to develop full protection against the flu.
Hawthorne Brook Middle School in Townsend is also hosting a seasonal flu clinic on Tuesday, October 21 from 3:00-6:00 PM.
