Today’s Student Spotlight is on Taylor, a sixth grade student at NMS.  For the last three years, Taylor has participated in a 3 day walk to benefit Multiple Sclerosis. Taylor completed her first walk when she was 9 years old. Her first year, Taylor joined her father and walked a total of 28 miles. The following year, she was able to walk 37 miles. This year, Taylor walked 42 miles in 3 days on Cape Cod!  Taylor walks for her grandfather, who can no longer walk due to the disease. She also walks for her aunt, who is affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Thank you, Taylor for making a personal sacrifice and spreading awareness of Multiple Sclerosis!

The NMS Blog is looking to showcase more students who are making positive contributions to our community. Please contact Mrs. Young if interested.photo (32)
