The Summer Band Program sponsored by the Pepperell Parents Pro Musica (PPPM) concluded it’s 34th season today. Mr. Tellier established this program in 1980 and it has run every summer since. This year, 50 students in grades 5-9 participated in the five week program run by three highly experienced teachers, namely: Scott Mullett- PPPM Artist-In-Residence, Donna Morse-Woodwind Specialist, and our own Instrumental Music Teacher, Mr. Tellier, who taught all instruments and coordinated the program.
The Summer Program is designed to meet individual needs and refine student performance skills. Some students use this as an opportunity to begin studying a second instrument, while others prepare to take leadership roles in the upcoming school year.
Congratulations to all participating students! You will enter the new school year with increased confidence, knowledge, and skills. We are grateful for Kevin Tellier’s dedication to our students and to Scott Mullett and Donna Morse for sharing their expertise. Thank you to the PPPM for once again sponsoring this fantastic program! It has been a significant factor in creating and sustaining an exemplary Performing Arts Program at Nissitissit Middle School.
